Purchase Ledger Clerk

Grafton Banks Finance are currently working with a very well respected commercial company with offices near London Bridge to recruit a Purchase Ledger Clerk on a permanent basis. Reporting into the Financial Controller and working within a team of Accounts Assistants on a day to day basis you will be responsible for :
- Processing cost of sale invoices in a timely and accurate manner
- Liaising with other departments and suppliers to manage discrepancies
- Working on reference source contracts and processing the finance information
- Ad- Hoc project work including supporting the team in finance.
The position would ideally suit someone with purchase invoice processing experience who is able to use there own initiative and skills to work the invoices by reference to contracts with suppliers with minimal support. You will need to have experience of working in high volume processing working environments and have strong communication skills to be able to communicate both verbal and in writing across the business and to suppliers. You will need to have strong IT skills including Excel and be able to use your own initiative to work on data from various sources working well under pressure and to tight deadlines at times.
