Interim Financial Accountant

Grafton Banks Finance are currently looking for an Interim Financial Accountant on an initial 3-month interim basis. Our client, a reputable business based in the Reigate area, are looking to recruit an Interim Financial Accountant to support the year-end process and will be responsible for a range of treasury management, cost analysis, as well as month and year-end closures.

Key Responsibilities may include:

• Supporting the management of the treasury function, covering UK and multi-currency payments, month-end bank reconciliations and managing queries.
• Month-end bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Monthly Journal postings
• Supporting the Sales Ledger function with reviewing financial data, monthly reconciliations.
• Monthly cost analysis, pulling large data sets from ERP system into Excel.
• Reviewing expenditure vs budgeting, presenting to the Finance Manager
• Liaise with external auditors during year-end process.
• Ad hoc support to the Finance Manager.

The successful candidate will:

• Be studying towards ACCA/ACA/CIMA or qualified by experience.
• Ability to commute to the offices on a hybrid basis, potential of full-time in office during training period.
• Advanced Excel skills, and varied ERP finance systems experience.
• Available to start on immediate notice – December/Early January start date.
