Financial Controller

Grafton Banks Finance in Kent is recruiting a Financial Controller for a successful and growing SME business in Ashford. It's a varied role incorporating monthly management accounts production, reporting, forecasting, analysis, budgeting, payroll, systems, and process improvements and lots more. It has the potential to grow into a Finance Director role in the future. The post offers hybrid working with 2-3 days remote working per week.

Managing a small team and reporting to the MD the role takes responsibility for:

• Monthly reporting and consolidations for several entities
• Balance sheet control and reconciliations
• Management of team 
• Cashflow forecasting
• Business partnering operations directors on budgets, spend and costs
• Budgeting and variance analysis
• Payroll
• VAT
• Process and systems improvements
• Banking
• Financial modelling

It could suit someone with accountancy preparation experience looking for a move from practice into industry or someone with varied experience already in industry. Prerequisite experience for the role includes consolidations and reporting as well as budgeting and forecasting.
