Management Accountant

Grafton Banks Finance is recruiting a Management Accountant for a large, PE backed, rapidly expanding business in Dartford, Kent, (hybrid working). The role requires a fully or nearly qualified accountant with strong excel skills (pivots, v-look ups, data manipulation), balance sheet reconciliations, management accounting and consolidations experience to apply.

The purpose of the role is to support the Divisional Financial Controller in delivering accurate, timely financial reporting and management accounting across the business. The Management Accountant will play a key role in maintaining financial controls, supporting cash management, driving budget and forecast processes, and partnering with operational teams to provide meaningful financial insight. The role is accountable for maintaining accurate and complete financial records in accordance with Group policies, UK GAAP, and statutory requirements. You will support the delivery of financial and commercial objectives, providing effective business partnering to internal stakeholders whilst upholding the highest standards of financial governance.

The role is split into the following areas of responsibility:

Monthly Financial Reporting

• Cashflow Forecasting & Cash Management
• Budgeting & Forecasting
• Business Partnering & Ad Hoc Queries
• Financial Controls & Compliance
• Systems & Process Improvement
