Grafton Banks Finance is working with a growing PE backed business, based in East Sussex, to recruit a new Financial Accountant role.

This business is a leader in its field and is growing consistently through acquisition, and organically. This role will be part of a high calibre finance team and will be responsible for overseeing financial accounting and external reporting for a division of the business.

We are looking for a finalist or recently qualified accountant, who is technically strong, and ideally has hands on financial accounting and reporting experience. This would be a great first move into industry for someone recently qualified and looking to move out of practice.

The position includes coordinating financial reporting, statutory accounts, tax reporting and other regulatory compliance, P&L and financial analysis, and cashflow management. It will also be heavily involved in driving improvements to processes and controls.

Salary for this role is £55,000 + benefits. Initially the role will be 4 days in the clients offices, moving to 3 days in the office once probation is completed.
