Assistant Accountant

Grafton Banks Finance are working with a commercial business based in East Grinstead to recruit an Assistant Accountant on a full time permanent basis. This is a hybrid working role, with an immediate start date. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting the finance team with a range of duties, including:

• Processing and reconciling supplier invoices and payments
• Issuing and managing customer invoices and receivables
• Monitoring overdue accounts and following up on unpaid balances, ensuring incoming payments are allocated correctly
• Assisting with bank reconciliations and cash flow management
• Responding to finance-related queries from suppliers and customers

Ideal Candidate:

• AAT Level 3 or 4 qualified
• Ability to commute to the office on a hybrid basis
• 1-2+ years of experience in a Finance Assistant role
• Available on short or immediate notice
