Assistant Management Accountant

Job Title: Assistant Management Accountant

Location: Kings Hill, with some remote working available

Salary: up to £35,000 per annum

Contract: 12-month fixed term contract 

Grafton Banks Finance are delighted to be assisting a growing business based in Kings Hill with the recruitment of an experienced Assistant Management Accountant to support their dynamic finance team on a 12-month fixed term contract.

Key Responsibilities:

-          Assist in the preparation of management accounts, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements

-          Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analysing account information

-          Provide support in budgeting and forecasting processes

-          Assist with month-end and year-end close processes

-          Support the Finance team with ad hoc financial analysis and reporting

Requirements:

-          Studying AAT, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent

-          Previous experience working as an Assistant Management Accountant or similar role

-          Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

-          Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

-          Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software, Sage experience is desirable but not essential
