Sales Ledger Clerk

Grafton Banks Finance are currently working with a large services company with offices near Stratford Train Station, East London to recruit a temporary Sales Ledger/ Credit Controller on a contract basis for 9-12 months. Reporting into the Finance Manager on a day to day basis you will be responsible for the:

  • Producing daily invoices (high volume, high value)
  • Producing ad-hoc invoicing
  • Chasing payments
  • Assist in raising client furlough credits
  • Organising new invoicing runs
  • Transferring invoicing to Sage 200
  • Managing client queries
  • Various ad-hoc duties to support finance manager and finance functions

The successful candidate will have previous experience of working in Sales Ledger and Credit Control. You will need to be a Team Player and able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines. This job is busy and faced paced you will need to be able to multi-task and support the finance controls with ad-hoc various tasks. Excellent communication skills and strong IT skills are essential.

Due to the temporary nature of this job you must be available at short notice. For your skills and experience you will be rewarded with an excellent hourly rate.
