Book-Keeping Manager


Salary: £22.5k - 28k per year + benefits

Grafton Banks Finance are recruiting for a Book-Keeping Manager to join our client in Hove on a permanent basis.

Key duties include:
➢ Onboarding new clients and designing the best systems for their business. Liaising with outsourcing team and reviewing work returned.
➢ Ideally min 2 years experience of managing a bookkeeping function - e.g. sales ledger, maintaining accounts, verifying and posting transactions, bank reconciliation, reconciling control accounts on the balance sheet, balancing accounts, recording client assets, managing client invoices & payments, liaising with clients, suppliers and banking contacts, production of management accounts.
➢ Experience of preparing VAT Returns.

Suitable candidates:
➢ Clear communicator across all mediums & easily builds rapport with clients and team
➢ Highly computer literate with experience of accounting packages and Excel. Xero experience an advantage.
➢ Relevant qualifications such as AAT an advantage. However, relevant career history and technical skill set providing strong bookkeeping experience is paramount.
➢ Applicants with a background in the practice sector will be of high interest. Alongside this, a background in commerce and industry, with good transferable skills to deal with wide ranging clients, supporting them, in a client facing capacity will also be considered.
