Financial Operations Manager

Grafton Banks Finance is currently looking for a Financial Operations Manager for an extremely well know and respected international organisation with offices in Crawley, West Sussex. You will be a qualified accountant - ACA, CIMA, ACCA with confident financial accounting abilities. This position requires you to look at a number of processes around balance sheet control and reporting and recommending and implementing areas of improvement. You will also support the financial accounting teams at month and year end as well as take control of various company strategic finance projects. The most pressing of which is the development of an outsourcing team in India. This will involve building a team which deals with the transactional aspects of finance. This is a varied opportunity and is described as a "task busting" role. The post will also evolve over time and will provide you with the opportunity to take on more key projects. It would suit an individual who has the technical financial accounting knowledge as well as some process or systems improvement experience.
